In Spite of the Madness
In all of the madness,
I forgot to say you fill
me with much gladness.
The world can be really loud,
being with you makes me proud.
You continue to give me shelter
from the pouring rain,
without you I’d go insane.
Loving you has been pure joy,
we met when you were a boy.
Everyday our friendship grows,
and my heart for you just glows.
As we both approach our twilight hour
just know our bond has never gone sour
I will love you until the very end,
my sweet lover and best friend.
