In Spirit
Today you got the rotten news,
The job you so desired fell through.
Over the phone your sigh I did hear,
At your side I wanted to be near.
You know I love you from the bottom of my heart,
It's times like this I really hate being apart.
For at your side I feel the need to be,
This being away from you is agony.
I know soon will come the day,
That we won't have to live this way.
For now all I can surely do,
Is be there in spirit for you.
