In Search of Tomorrow
A tear of joy, a tear of sorrow,
One represents new life, one represents no more tomorrows.
A never ending cycle with the dawning of each new day,
As we set out to make our mark in this game of life we all must play.
And as we start to grow with years, our roots start to embed and entwine,
And we start to grow and spread like a fast growing vine,
Clinging on to everything we touch,
And like a starving plant, love is the water we need so much.
The more we get, the stronger we grow,
And the more beauty we are able to show.
But we all have our seasons and then we are gone,
Then another child awakens and starts a brand new dawn.
