In Sadness and Sorrow I Now Weep

In Sadness and Sorrow I Now Weep

I In sadness and sorrow I now weep
N Never to see the one I loved so deep
S Saddened, cry weary eyes in retrospect
A All family and friends here in respect
D Day of sadness, as we all shed a tear
N Now all of us together from far and near
E Ending of a chapter, of a life of their own
S Sharing stories of the person we have known
S Smiling and remembrance of times that were shared
A Always knowing this day would come, though never prepared
N Now is our time to feel such loss, such sorrow and pain
D Desperately seeking the right words to say again
S Somber guest speak so quiet, seeking a familiar face
O Operatic music plays, seems so strange, so out of place
R Remembering the music that was apart of us all
R Rock and roll music we loved, we all had a ball
O Out of all our past experiences, all that we shared
W We friends carry on, a smile for the one whom we cared
I In this moment in time, we take pause to truly remember
N Never shall we forget the one, when a life turns to embers
O Offering help, in anyway to those who have been left behind
W Wondering, what solace I can give to ease their solemn minds
W Waiting for the right time, my condolences, to family in kind
E Each of us sharing the love within us all, the tides that bind
E Emotions shared, the celebration of life, such a blessing
P Pausing to give thanks for all the love in our lives, everlasting

Hello Charlie Baker,in death it is very hard to face. We weep weeks on end. Because we miss the person that passed. Crying is good to get it out of your system. Do not be ashamed to cry. It is part of the healing process. I know I have been ther twice. have a nice day my friend.
