In My World

When I lay down to sleep at night I enter a different place Away from this world into another time and space In a dimension all of its own A place where I never feel alone I can travel anywhere I choose and see anything I want to see With no one to hold me back In my world, I am free I can go back in time and create a different scene and I am happy there in my own dream Where my life has been corrected and complete. Where I can conquer the enemy to its own defeat Where colors are bright bold and some what unique I am always at my strongest no more am I weak But when I awake I am here where the world is never clear and life itself I fear. Then I have to wait before I return again where my body and soul where once at peace from within In my own world, where I once had been
