In My Thoughts

IN MY THOUGHTS

My life is filled with lifeless bones.
I feel like my legs are made of stones.
Some people laugh some people stare.
Only because I'm in a wheelchair.
              I can't walk I can't run but I'm afraid.
              The things I've done I wouldn't trade.
My thoughts come to me in dreams.
But life is not always what it seems.
As I write my mind takes me to another world.
My life my body my mind has been in a whirl.
Without inspiration from family and friends.
My life would come to a very hard end.
                                      Teresa Skyles
