In my spirit
I am free
I am me
I can be whatever I want to be
In my spirit
I am a cat
Very power, I get what I desire
Treated like a king
My intelligence is very admired
In my spirit
I am the books you read
The glasses you wear
The colors you like
And the music you hear
Don’t question what I do
By the way I see
By the way I write
Let me speak in my free spirit
For it is love at first sight
So in my spirit
I dance with a style
My style
My African style
I write what I know
And I know what I know is right
My journey will always be on the paper
In my spirit is the pen that will forever shine bright
