In My Shoes
Be in my shoes.
Walk that mile.
See what I go through.
No job.
No money.
No way to pay bills.
Be in my shoes.
People badmouthing someone they don’t really know.
Folks staring.
People drinking.
Poking fun of my life style.
Be in my shoes.
No one wants to give you a job.
No one but your mother wants to help.
You’ve sold every thing you own to get by.
Nothing left and can’t even afford rent.
Be in my shoes.
Walk that mile.
No transportation.
Walk every where you go.
No way to take a taxi.
Be in my shoes.
Walk that mile.
