In My Shoes

How far would you really get, If made to walk in my shoes, How long would it take, To admit that you would lose. Many have not come this far, Or been given another chance, Many have just stuttered, Not given a choice to dance. I struggle through each day, Living in my own domain, Hoping there will be a day, When I am freed from all this pain. You may not be able to see my scars, Even if you were to pry, Some shoes are very heavy, So hard but at least I try. Never give up on yourself.
