In My Heart

Where are you when the sky turns gray
And my life seems so forlorn
Where are you when I need a hug
To make me feel reborn.

Where are you when my stress is high
My tears they fall like rain
Where are you to tell me it’s all right
My spirit to regain.

Where are you when I’m feeling lonely
Companionship is what I need
Where are you to listen to my words
My soul to be freed.

Where are you when I need you
When everything seems so wrong
You are in my heart as always
To help me to be strong.
