In my head

I live a life of pain and fear, I dare not try to shed a tear. To tell you the truth and let you in, You would see my life of lies and sin. I don’t want to hurt you, I just try to give love, To you I’m your angel, sent from above. But my heart is heavy and body is tired, My mind screams out that it’s expired. I want it to end, be over, just fly, To a peaceful place up in the sky. Be a bird who’s wings can touch the clouds, But such is a dream that I’m not allowed.
