In My Dreams

I wish to clasp and embrace you very close,
Rip open my throbbing heart,
And share love with you, my Rose
And never breathe moments apart

Often I visualize you all through the day
And feel I can see you very near,
Smiling and retorting to all I say,
But is that really you my dear?

Every day I pray that you will call
Make moments of my day joyous and bright,
I know I can only my memories recall,
And my sulking face is certainly not a great sight.

But I am sure now,
 That I can reason and express what I mean.
And when I toss & turn, but sleep somehow,
You will appear and be with me in my dream……
