In My Dream
In my dream, I see you cry.
A tear of sadness, and I wonder why.
In my dream, I see the pain.
A pain so deep, I feel the strain.
In my dream, I see the sadness.
A sadness caused, by all this madness.
In my dream, I see you kneel.
You kneel before us, so we will heal
In my dream, I see you pray.
You pray for peace and love to stay.
In my dream, through your eyes I see.
A world that is dying before you and me.
In my dream, you stand up tall.
And spread your arms to hug us all.
In my dream, your message is heard.
And the world starts to speak your very word.
In my dream, we unite as one.
And all this madness is undone.
In my dream, you smile down.
Upon a world that honors your crown.
