In My Blood
In my blood
Be it an ardent passion of love
or a flourishing hatred of betrayal,
Be it a joy of togetherness
or sorrow of separation,
You constantly rose as a raging red in my blood.
Once a sparkling diamond of my eyes
now a tear of remorse shed in disguise,
That thump, rhyming beat of heart
how could you tear my soul apart ?
Breathless when I shall lay to rest
Will wonder why I was often put to test,
A breeze that would have touched my past,
Will tell tales of your deceit leaving aghast,
As embers of passion freeze in my blood ....
Forever ..... Forevermore.
