In Light of Innocence
Lightning strikes lonely hearts
soaring.
Green seas vanilla whipped.
On the fringe of my innocence
moon rises then tumbles slow.
Sunrises and we
capture each golden ray.
Soaring on the thermals of created thought,
reflecting tender fears endless...
Your tears...
gentle melancholy at the tide.
And is brushed aside.
The stops of life
first pouring
runs down.
My reflection in the mirror,
reflecting back at me
smiles with approval.
Petite giggles bubbling.
Purple lipstick smears.
Shaping future Marilyn Monroe kisses.
