In Life
Life is a gift it doesn't come with a receipt,
there's no guarantee that you'll be able to compete.
Somedays opportunities will provide you a treat,
but there's no immunity from days leaving you beat.
In life be assured that effort will reward.
In order to thrive endurance is vital,
you will lose confidence but ensure it's restored,
and always believe you can better a rival.
Life is a journey, the years are like miles,
there's a rollercoaster of happiness on the way to success,
learn this early and be ready for the trials,
and know that everyone's felt hopeless through stress.
In life you need the ability to overcome,
don't care how others judge you, be the judge of yourself,
when tests seem impossible, challenge don't run,
and always be you, don't live as someone else.
