In Hiding

Shadows hide what face-paint could not erase Pain shown all over her face Sadness erupts inside Seeing what she truly looks like brings fear Tears flow as mirrors crash down Breaks in many pieces Pit of her stomach clenches when she’s out Hiding when she has the chance Running away always Time doesn’t seem to heal her painful wounds Inside she wishes to die Secretly wanting death Hope fades like the sun on dark cloudy days Her face contorts to her pain She must endure always She wonders if she will ever be free As her days are filled with tears Unknown is her future

You crafted a work of art here Russel. I felt drawn into her sad painful existance. Well done!
