In Her Silent Prayers
Oh, Its a dawn bright,
She wakes with a smile so rare,
Her loved one by her side,
She says a silent prayer!
Oh, Its just another day,
Routines and sometime apart,
“Trouble-free, jubilant, he may”
She murmurs at the start!
A shield in her mind,
To protect from the unkind!
From the lives of common man,
She thinks its a part she can!
From dawn to night,
She aspires to be the “knight”!
When not in sight,
With her souls might,
In her silent prayers he resides!
