IN HELL WITH NO COOL WATER An Old & New Aged ***** Spiritual by James Edward Lee Sr. It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty OH! brother won't you give me some Won't you please give me some Mercy Lord have him give me some water on the tip of his thumb I did not repent, nor did I mean it I fell to shame and sin Got thrown in the pit, was condemn Now fires all around me Been sentence for eternity OH! Lord it's hot down here, God please help me It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty OH! brother won't you give me some Won't you please give me some Mercy Lord have him give me some water on the tip of my tongue My body sweating, burning, never consuming Constantly raging, a blazing on fire Gnashing itching my skin burning Painfully paining ever, ever on and on forever more Lord please cool me down sent a cold artic breeze Father I'm so sorry stop me from burning up, please; My eternal life is over because I disobey Should have repented, turned around before I death day came...
