In God's Hands
I put my troubles in god's hands and he took care of it all, it's amazing how he works, he's always there when we fall.
I kept it all in prayer and though it all took awhile, no more stressing, no more tears, now it's joy and more smiles.
He showed me what a struggle was, and believe me, now I see, I won't ever take for granite all the blessings he's given me.
He showed me how to be strong even when it hurts, and to be thankful for what I do have because others go through worst.
And when I thought " man i'll just give up" I swear I heard him talk to me, he said "my child now's not the time, do you not believe in me?.
I said " god I do believe but things are getting way too hard", he says "my child come stand by me to see this tunnel from afar".
But still I couldn't see it, I said " you must've dimmed the lights, and I'm so tired of going through this, and I want back my normal life".
He says " my child have you gone blind? Take these glasses, because there's a light and if you wanna see this change you have to help me make it right.
To make it right, you can't give up, you've gotta fight for what you want, you'll go through struggle, life ain't easy so it may take days and it may take months".
I said " I promise I won't give up, but can you just take away this pain?"
He says " yes, if you do your part, you know I'll do the same.
I then did as I was told and on my journey I had some falls, but I still kept getting up, and as for that dirt? I brushed it off.
And from a distance along my journey came along this wall, and I jumped in my bulldozer which took care of it all.
After the wall came crashing down, I could finally see the light, and from that moment than, I knew that god had made things right.
Before I heard his voice again, that light came beaming down on me, and not a full minute passed before again I heard him speak.
He said " I told you I would change things, you've kept your promise, now you see, though we may not wanna struggle, never quit and always believe.
So although it does get hard, and things block our way so change we can't see, just give it all to god and he'll fix it for you because he did it for me.
