In Front of the Fireplace
Dancing fiery flames entrancing me to dream
where energies ablaze with yellow golden gleam,
Mesmerising flares devouring the wood
sparking memories sultry, hot and good.
Recalling your photograph~sweaty, smiling, dripping
searing elementary brought loving heart to skipping.
Orange is your best-loved hue as to fire in your soul
though blues my choice and I rejoice when violet fuel lines roll.
