In Eyes of God Equally Seen
In Eyes of God Equally Seen
I am sure there are pages after pages
Of names of those being so courageous;
A mixture of many women and men
Who off to serve country we did send.
Some alive will never return back
When we do see dawn's early crack
We had longed for all their presence
Of those that were loved in every sense.
Goose bumps appeared and heart throbs
For safe return of soldiers and also gobs
Who had nobly served American country
To make much safer for you and me.
So what more should I have to say
Except now as I will humbly pray
God, bring them back safe and sound
Home again on this hallowed ground.
Around countryside each soul do scatter
Color, race and creed make no matter
We now know what God does mean
In His eyes we all are equally seen.
