In Every Failure

Been waiting for a day to come
When dreaming weren’t just made for some.
Left you longing in every way
The dawn of that wonderful day.

And you believe that what you give
Is what you will one day receive.
Have faith in your work do your best
And pray so God will do the rest.

Then finally comes a new day
But it’s for them, to your dismay.
Wound in your heart kept on aching
Left you still hoping and praying.

The day you long since in your youth.
May not come and that is the truth.
Each night you pray that you could keep,
The day you dreamt while you’re asleep.

This fight it seems you cannot cope,
You’re on the verge of losing hope.
Your faith and trust in Him before,
Turned to doubt until it’s no more.

But you were wrong always be strong,
Put your faith in Him all lifelong.
All your failures brings you closer,
Though long, triumph awaits you there!
