In Control

My meaning was mistaken and her offense was taken so in defense she quarantined her soul, and safe inside she set her screens for self-protection, so she is always in control.

I fear that you may have inadvertently written about me Mr Bickerstaffe. I have a bulk discount from IKEA on those things! Excellent. Kx

Keith, this says so much about life, communication, and emotional defenses. Depression can be debilitating. This is a wonderful write. Dear friend, keep writing. Lovingly, Dane

I think this is a poem most will relate to as the self protection walls are something most put up at one time or another. Sad that people don't always allow one to explain. Interesting slant on a common problem. Have a wonderful weekend. Karen
