Art Wielgus Poet Verse

In Chicago

On Michigan Avenue,
 I used to go to college,
 worked in Magnificent Mile –
 Hancock Building was my view.
 
Of an epoch different style,
 Water Tower stands as remnant,
 architecture magnifier -
 on Michigan Avenue. 

People shopping in boutiques,
 buying their favorite brands –
 niche markets have new trends.
 
Sun is blinding the million windows.
 All is fashion of elegance
 on Michigan Avenue.

Cheryl Hoffman June 14, 2016 at 7:40 PM I was in Chicago a long time ago and don't remember much of it; alls I know is its referred to as the "windy city!" Nice poem, Michigan Avenue reminds me of NYC a bit.:)
