In Between and All Around
Want and desire,
turns to need and disease,
water on fire,
too dry to breathe.
Pleasure and pain,
the sun and the rain,
mixed together again,
the now turns to then.
Helpless but hopeful,
the light burning my eyes,
what"s sharp will get dull,
to do becomes to try.
Fiction to fact,
the truth was a lie,
the front meets the back,
what's alive will die.
