Notes About The Poem

In Admiration

In admiration

The starry heaven observed

Too small myself found!

Very rightly said ... Beside the starry heaven, a speck of dust ... but with the potential to understand it till he breathes his last ... nice haiku ...

The vastness of universe by comparison is breathtaking. We should be humbled to be a tiny part..a potent thought, Demetrios.

There is no better sight than to see stars like diamonds thrown across a black velvet cloth. A sight I witnessed a few years ago. Breathtaking, and yes we are but a grain of sand on a beach. Beautiful words Demetrios. I always enjoy them. Regards Tom
