In a World Without You and I

You find yourself looking for answers, away to leave the pain behind. Sometimes the things we thought we needed, is not what we need at all. The answers are not always easy to find and sometimes we get lost along the way. But I know I need to love myself, too truly love anyone. Depend on me, before I can depend on anyone else. You say you love me from afar. If I'm not your reasons to wake in the morning or the last thing you see at night, how can you call it true love. No, my love, I'm only a dream; and as all dreams, it too will fade in time. For your heart belongs to another. So I will love you from afar, I will wake to a new day and close my eyes at night and dream of you And in silents, I will call your name. But I know I must be true to myself. And as time go slowly by, I must close my eyes, to only open them to anew began. In a world without you and me.
