In a Tiger's Eyes...

The Tiger crouches
Eying her prey
a soft, helpless rabbit
grazing in the grasses.
The ferocious glare
Resting in her eyes
So angry-
So piercing.

She springs forward
Releasing her claws
Growling
With a deafening tone.

The rabbit cries
In despair
For it knows
Its end is near.

Her nails pierce
The helpless rabbits flesh
It quivers
In anguish.

The tiger snarls
And watches the rabbits sprit rise and
vanish.

As she opens her jaws
Ready to devour
She looks into the heavens
And cries
For she knows pain.
All too well.
