In a Month We'Ll Turn the Clocks Back

In a Month We'll Turn the Clocks Back
By Franklin Price

In a month we'll turn the clocks back
In an attempt to fool the sun
A political decision
That's not fooling anyone

By making seven six o'clock
Won't make us rise at night
One day an extra hour's sleep
Somehow makes this changing right

If you're like me forget the day
When it's time to make the change
Your thinking quite oblivious
You will not rearrange

Get to work an hour early
Wonder why the door is locked
Then remember that the time has changed
When you get home you'll change the clock

This poem is one month early
Try not to live verse four
Change your clocks November first
Get to sleep an hour more
