In a Moments Time

In A Moments Time

In a blink of an eye
Your heart can be broken
A flood of emotions awoken
In a moments notice
Life can change
Your future’s plans rearranged
At a snap of a finger
Normality is replaced
With unexpected trials to be faced
At a drop of a hat
Tears can fall
As we face emotional walls
At lightening speed
All is new
Our worst fears are suddenly true

There are no tomorrows that are guaranteed
No promise of a next breath, of which we need
No second changes to make things right
No battles of immortality, in which to fight
No game of life in which to win
No time for sorrow of our sins

If you’re not living for today
Then you’ll not be prepare when it’s taken away
