Impromptu
my heart
beats softly
for thee and
for thee beats
broken beating
slower and slower
i've flat lined______
paddles
charged
clear
electricity spike
milligan for a millisecond
_______________________
wait a minute begin again Finnegan
wake
to find
my friends
in rhyme not
rhythm sitting in
with the heavenly band
but not one knows a single note_______
