Impromptu

i wish
my muse and i
were
congenital lovers
joined
by the hip

she would swing
her right
hand as i
would bring
my left
we'd meet

fingers meshing
together
digressing of days
dancing cheek
to cheek

completely
complete
her and i
would be we
and so

to
sleep
together
in our congenital
dreams
