Imprisoned
Being so closed in and completely tied down
There was no way to win and soon he would drown
With no hope in sight or any chance to redeem
Always having to fight or at least so it would seem
Day in and day out nothing ever seemed to change
Every day was a bout and nothing seemed strange
Alone in his own cell he could only sit and think
This place was like hell and now he's on the brink
And as the sun would rise the sun would then set
And within those eyes there was little life yet
But one night in his mind he felt this little glow
Oh what would he find what would he come to know
For today he is now free and can simply roam about
And now he can see and is no longer filled with doubt
He found Jesus is what he did it was He who opened his eyes
For so long he had hid nearly dying among the lies
