Impiety

The darkness around the heart surges Engulfing the brightness and then belches, Twisting the facelines in its wake And narrowing the mind on its take. Melancholy at me winks; For the sadness on my heart blinks Depriving the mind of its right And the eyes surrenders without a fight. The melody now fails to entice the mind. For my willpower isn't mine. Such is me in entirety When she at me rants with impiety. T.M Tanjang
