Impatiently Waiting
With love I write these words to you
For you and you alone, I knew
From early on who was the one
To make my life complete in sum
Exactly when I do not know
But once I did my love did grow
A steady growth, not leaps and bounds
Set by set, solid ground
In speaking with you every day
I learn about your every way
I see compatibility
Exists between both you and me
So I'll sit back and bide my time
'Til I am yours and you are mine
But know that should my choice allow
I'd want you in my arms right now
