Immortal

Once again I am holding you in my arms,
with a dying breath you tell me;
,I love you, see you in another lifetime'

My tears roll down my face.
Your body slowly becomes numb and cold.
Waiting another century to find you, another lifetime.

I will always find you, again and again,
and I will love every version of you.

You are never truly gone,
as long as the part of you within me
lives on.

I will always find you, again and again,
and I loose you every time.

But my love, I will always hold you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
