Immobile

A soft whisper of vintage melodies,
painting old fashioned tapestries
with a brand new style;

Transported to a forgotten time
beguiled with every rhythmic rhyme
disappearing for a while;

Rich taste of fairy tale romance
dapper gentleman and lady slow dance
holding each other’s smile;

For a moment Earthy time is naught;
Together in the peace they have sought
love renders them immobile.
