Immanent Yet Transcendent
Just like the shine of a bright sun
Tears away darkness all around,
Illuminates the path of man
And guides him on the earthly mound,
So the light of the inner self
Goads him in his voyage of life,
In the way forward of the self
Amidst the odds of daily strife.
For some, the soul strewn with the dust
Of ego and evil intents,
Enfolded with layers of rust
Shines dim as from a distance;
For souls marked with noble deeds
And illumined with noble thoughts
The inner light is bright, indeed,
And sparkles afar like a shot.
Such souls drawing from the divine,
With their immanent light bestow
Upon dimmer souls their own shine
And steer their way with their glow;
Yet not every immanent soul
Can reach the transcendental phase,
Attain the Supreme Divine Whole
And forsake the material stage.
Transcendental souls worth the name
Are those who can cross time and space,
Their mind and all their emotions tame,
Are rewarded with divine grace
And, immersed in spiritual thoughts,
Move beyond spirituality
To be above the common lot
With the light of Divinity.
Let`s salute such enlightened souls,
Immanent yet transcendent,
Who make the divine realm their goal
And sincerely serve as servants
In spreading spirituality,
The spirit of the divine grace
And the shine of the Trinity
To all, irrespective of race.
