Imitate

10-19-12
No words to save your life There is something I can do My heart is screaming I will hurt If I even dare to intervene Nowhere to turn the knife And every lie I make rings true Your body is full of scratches and your arms burnt I will never say goodbye to you Every word you speak is another razor cut All the things you have ever done will echo Because though I try to understand, I fail and merely repeat the sin Deep within I am torn to a rut Afraid of every demonic, chronic foe If I dare reach to your hand I will stare back into the eyes of my own kin

this poem speaks loudly to me...i can relate all too well...the cuts may ease the pain but the scars forever remain...from all angles... nicely penned!
