Imagine I Could Fly

Imagine I could fly

Spread wings and soar the sky

Up where the air is rare

Over storms and mountains high


Imagine I believed

The little voice inside of me

Had the faith of Heaven

And could shape my destiny


Imagine I could reach

Stars that twinkle in my eyes

Realize dreams I've wanted

Peacefully satisfied


Well imagine how happy

How happy it would be for us

To remove the obstacles

And place in GOD our trust


I imagine we would try

Spread our wings..... and soar the sky

We could Fly...

I have flown in dreams, and in the sleepy half-realm between sleepiness and somnolence, I've whispered to myself, almost convincingly, that I certainly could do it. But from earliest times I was told more of the things I couldn't do than encouraged to try. Reading this, I believe I'll have another go. Excellent work. You might read my poem, Flight Without Wings.
