Imagine a Life

Imagine a life of fairness to all
Where all of our people win 
A world bristling with opportunity
Without reference to sex or colour of skin.

Imagine a life of plenty 
Where no child dies of hunger or thirst
A world where all of our governments
Put the love of humanity first .

Imagine a life of gentle peace 
Where weapons are no longer in need 
Countries working toward one common goal 
In the hope mankind will succeed.

Imagine a life of compassion
Where people learn to care
A world where consideration
Is given for this planet we share.

Imagine a life of honesty 
Where truth may reign as king 
A world of faith and loyalty 
Where lies have had their final fling .

Imagine a life of togetherness
Where all nations work as a team 
Eden was once a reality 
It doesn't have to be a dream . 

Dig well your patch of Eden 
Sow it well with seed
Share your wondrous bounty
Put an end to hatred and greed.

I imagine such a wonderful life
Will be a long time in the winning 
But here I plant my acorn
In the hope of a new beginning.

It's not much but it makes a big difference to a lot of children , Just one tree at a time , That is all we need do .
