Imagine

Imagine the paintings come to life,
Mona Lisa and Gandhi sharing some tea,
Repeating the words said before they died,
Flirting secretly so no one can see.

Imagine a tree with lots of money,
Surrounded by people of filth and greed,
Genteel birds praying for a swelling,
Plans made already to steal its seed.

Imagine all your dreams become reality,
Cinderella and Mickey making out in the park,
Prince Charming and Tweety off to prom,
And more dreams there as soon as its dark.

Imagine 'poverty' and 'crime' become words of past,
A place where all is imagination,
Where people do not survive but live,
We will have created a new generation.
