Imaginations

Imaginations

When Darkness falls
With its thick walls

When the air’s quiet
Din taken to flight;

A stir is in my head
I’m ever alert instead

With ideas of rhyme
Eating all my time.

When quiet an’ gloom
Fills my mental room

Kaleidoscopes flash
None away can bash!

Weird, kooky and cool; can't help but to love your style. You turn our gem after gem :)

Most of the time I conceive a poem when it is quiet, dark and sort of alone. I can write a complete poem with all rhyme and meter by heart, then put it down on paper when there is time enough to do so. In this writ I'm paying homage to such capacity of memory which has become invaluable in my writing pursuit. Thanks for reading this short poem with a long bearing....Friendly JM
