we are all made in Gods' image he loves us all the same neither one is in his image no one more than the other all are equal no matter if we are a sister or a brother don't worry if someone tries to judge or critisize the way that you look for that's not what God's word says about us in his book we all have great value we all have great worth he made us in his likeness long before our birth if people took the plank of wood from their eye before looking at the speck of dust in thine or mine then they'd see we all doing just fine God made us all in his image he loves us all the same if any one tries to tell you anything different recomend they go and read the scriptures again. Amen. Genesis 1: 26 -27 Genesis 5 : 1-2 ROMANS 6 : 14 Jeremiah 1 : 5 Luke 6 : 41 -42

live and let live...it's the "ego" that causes both differences in "look" and in the actions of the "different person" and the people deemed "normal" both sides are letting their "ego's" play. Light & Love (as you are in feeling either side needs your absolution)

Isn't this one of the many issues that hurt the church? Our piety and being judgmental. We forget how we used to be so quickly when we judge other people. Love the scripture!

Anyone who is different by choice as in the style of hair or no hair(shaved head) by a beard, makes a statement about themselves and for some people this is hard to except. Like some of the youth that dye hair pink or purple or off shade of red this says something about that person if nothing else that they want to be different. They might be a very loving and geniune underneath but for some it is hard to get pass the hair. Like the way you put the situation. Sara

Diane - Amen hon - I actually couldn't agree more even though my appearance has changed drastically over the last 6 years though I don't think it had much to do with my faith it was more of just not wanting the police to recognize me anymore, Which has worked by the way. I was walking in Chico the other day and walked right by Jose Lara who used to hassle me on sight and he looked at me and I could tell he was trying to figure out who i was - I just smiled - God Bless, YF4L, mj

As you say, it is up to god to be our judge. We need to look for the goodness in other and find a way to accept our differences. And truly, not one of us is better than another in God's eyes. We are all his children. Beautiful reminder of the scripture's true intent, Diane! Love, Carolyn

Great expression of the freedom we have in Christ. In our humaity we get the image thing--as well as most other things- way out of wack My church has accepted my beard as well as me and I hope I am as accepting of others who LOOK different than I do. God Bless you Charlie
