I'm to blame

Met this lady Was more than a maybe So bad I wanted But the past, it haunted Silent echoes The past knows Visions of what was assaulted my brain Emotions like a run away train Makes me insane Unsure of how to act It is a fact Words left me That I was not worthy, I could see Felt fear To have her near At love I was never that good So many emotions I never understood My tounge of wood In my head , so many a word Never to be heard Fear Brings fourth a tear Wipe it away Trying to find the words to say I love you, gets locked inside I want to hide I feel her getting mad Sad I want to hold you I wish I could of told you But the words got lost Loneliness always the cost So much I wish to say Please don't go your own way Your kiss was nice From my heart it melted the ice So used to being alone I remember what love has shown I got scared Cause someone cared Visions of the past Was hitting me so fast Love, does never last My fear Gave you a tear With all my heart I would love for this to start Fear held me back My brain on the attack All the things that could go wrong A sad love song You walk away I can't think of what I should say To make you stay Heart feels so sad Love was there to be had I sit there hanging my head Thinking of what I should of said But sitting here lonely instead If you could read my heart You would let love start I would cherish you I would be true Would place you high Never say good bye But here I cry I'm no good at this love No gift from above I have nothing to give The way I live I am only me I am what you see Not much I liked your loving touch And such I let you walk Cause I couldn't talk I wish I could tell you how I feel But the past haunts me still I feel shame I'm no good at the love game I'm to blame. Afraid to love you Then I'm left blue Love never last Goes by so fast Tell me what to do Are hearts ever true I fail Know that feeling well Words I'll never tell Leave a scar Dims my star
