I'M Staying Here

Another tear escapes your blue eye Another time I beg you, "Please don't die" We walk the edge of night And see the sunlit birds tear by Someday I'll see you smile I'll hear your voice again Somewhere We'll go and you know We're never looking in I'll see you right here in my arms This time not shaking with fear I'll hold you to dance Escape the tears The memories we know will stay But I'm not going anywhere Someday I'll see you smile I'll hear your voice again Somewhere We'll go and you know We're never looking in Because You held me You saved me God knows I'll do the same for you You touched me You made me Just know I'll be here 'till the very end My little faerie I'll hold you in my arms Until the memories fade to a bitter dull And we'll watch the sun set on this verdant world
