I'M Sorry

I'm sorry,did I tell you I love you
I guess I was thinking it would sound
 more true
Or was it the silence I heard in return
Not quite the answer I thought I had yearned
So what if I can always feel your lips on
 my skin
 Without another's heart,can I ever really win
I'm sorry, did I tell you I miss you as soon
 as you go
Was that my own voice that I heard
I'm sorry, was I thinking it could really go
 on
Even on the nights I felt empty in your arms
I'm sorry, was that me that just said goodbye
And why am I the only one that feels the
 need to cry
I'm sorry I couldn't have you be the one for me
Because you seem to fill my every dream
