I'M Sorry

I’m sorry that if what I had said didn’t seem to sit right
That if you felt you were being mislead or I was even making light
I’m sorry that you feel this way unwilling to change you mind
But it is not of what I say that makes you feel so maligned

I’m sorry about the hurt and all that constant gnawing pain
But these issues we just can’t skirt for in such time does wane
Yet for all of your disgust and all that pure utter disdain
I’m sorry you haven’t any trust and continue to act so vain

And with so much distance now between and so many feelings in the way
You may never know what I mean in any of the things that I say
I am sorry for all of this and all of that pain deep down inside
But all of it you could miss if your spirit hasn’t already died

So in the knowing of my sorrow you will know that I care
So soon comes tomorrow and life usually isn’t that fair
But ahead of what’s to be what is now on your horizon
For this I am truly sorry in missing the Salvation of His Son

Matthew 17:17

Then Jesus answered and said,
O faithless and perverse generation,
how long shall I be with you?
how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
