I'M Sorry

It didn't have to start this way it didn’t have to end this way
I’m sorry that I started it I’m sorry that you ended it
I should have seen the sadness but you were lying and you was hiding it.
I should have stood my ground from beginning to the end.
I’m sorry that you took your life I’m sorry I didn’t see past your lies.
I’m sorry that as a friend I wasn’t really ever worth your time.
I’m sorry that you cut yourself I’m sorry that you lost yourself.
You promised you would be here for me you promised not to lie to me.
But I guess your promises were all lies. Like the fact you promised not to kill yourself.
And now i’m sitting here reminiscing about the moments we could have had.
And I’m crying for you Lucas man I miss you so ing bad.
